Why hydrogen

Decarbonising what electricity alone cannot

High-temperature industrial heat, chemical feedstocks, long-haul trucking and shipping need an energy-dense molecule. Low-carbon hydrogen can meet that need without combustion emissions of CO₂.

We are developing hydrogen production alongside our existing gas operations, using feedstock, sites and engineering capability already in place.
